Sarah Teather praises the work of the local police in Brent.

Local Liberal Democrat MP Sarah Teather today praised the work of Brent's police at an awards ceremony to celebrate the work of local police officers. The Brent East MP presented the awards for outstanding police work at a awards ceremony in Brent.

Local Liberal Democrat MP Sarah Teather said:

"Awards ceremonies like these are tremendously important for the police. The police sometimes receive unfair criticism in the press, however everybody must realise the tough job they have to do in difficult circumstances.

"The award winners today are a not just outstanding police officers but they are role models in our local community."
