WELCOME TO BRENT 'LOVE' LABOUR

Lib Dem Councillors inspect the 'welcoming' granted new residents by the Labour Council.

Liberal Democrats for Sudbury have demanded immediate Council action to clear up a mountain of rubbish at the newly opened Eithell Court, Crawford Avenue in Wembley. After the Council left new residents in the lurch over refuse collections.

While new residents were being moved into the recently built into the twenty flats and four houses development the Council failed to make the necessary refuse arrangements resulting in a mountain of rubbish and packaging taking over a small car park.

Local Liberal Democrat Councillor Chandu Patel said:

"This is no way to welcome new residents to their homes. This episode just highlights the inefficiency and poor services provided by the council - local residents deserve better."

The Liberal Democrat Councillors for Sudbury uncovered the mess on their regular walkabout of the Sudbury area and reported the matter for urgent council action. They are amazed that with the vast amount of money spent by the Labour Council on glossy leaflets and so-called 'Ward working' no one from the Council had noticed the problem or dealt with it.

If you are a resident of the Brent Central constituency and are writing to discuss any issue that Parliament or government is responsible for, you must provide your home address as MPs are generally only permitted to act on behalf of constituents.

If you are not a constituent, you do not need to provide your address, but the matters we can deal with are more limited and you may wish to contact your local MP in the first instance.
