Local Liberal Democrat campaigners led by Sarah Teather MP are calling for a permanent solution to the problem of pigeon mess underneath the railway bridge on Park Avenue.

The Liberal Democrat MP has written to both Brent Council and Transport for London calling for a section under the bridge over the pavement areas to be netted off to stop the slimy mess creating a danger for local pedestrians.

The Liberal Democrats have collected a 150 signature strong petition in support of the campaign.

Local Liberal Democrat MP Sarah Teather said:

"With the Winter months approaching this problem is only going to get worse. We have already come across people who tripped over on these slimy pavements, it is essential that Transport for London take effective action before a local resident gets seriously hurt."

If you are a resident of the Brent Central constituency and are writing to discuss any issue that Parliament or government is responsible for, you must provide your home address as MPs are generally only permitted to act on behalf of constituents.

If you are not a constituent, you do not need to provide your address, but the matters we can deal with are more limited and you may wish to contact your local MP in the first instance.
