Sarah Teather celebrated the anniverary of local parent toddler group Daniel's Den

Brent's Liberal Democrat MP Sarah Teather joined her constituents to mark the first birthday of Daniel's Den in Gladstone Park.

The parent and toddler group first opened its doors in 1996 at Tokyngton Community Centre. Now they run a number of sessions each week in venues across Brent, including play activities, crafts and music for children, and also parenting courses, Dad's Zone events and seminars.

Earlier in the year Sarah and local Liberal Democrat Councillors took part in a fun day which raised almost £1000 for the group.

Local Liberal Democrat MP for Brent East Sarah Teather said:

"Daniel's Den is a great organisation that brings the whole community together. They are such a warm and welcoming group and do really valuable work with both children and their parents.

"I was pleased to help out Daniel's Den with fundraising earlier in the year, and it's great to see that this much loved group is going from strength to strength."
