Life FM Has Become Part Of The Community - Teather

Sarah Teather helped launch local radio station Life FM
Brent's local Liberal Democrat MP Sarah Teather has congratulated Life FM on winning a prize for the best local radio station in London.
The local community radio station has been awarded the Nations & Regions Award 2008 London Branch and was nominated for the Sony Radio Academy Awards Station of The Year.
Local Liberal Democrat MP for Brent East Sarah Teather said:
"In a relatively short space of time Life FM has become a real part of our community here in Brent. The station is both enjoyed and respected by local people and thoroughly deserves to be crowned London's best local radio station.
"As well as providing great entertainment, Life FM also has a strong social mission, providing training to their volunteers and giving voice to those who can sometimes struggle to make themselves heard.
"I warmly congratulate everyone at Life FM on their success, and hope the whole of Brent will share my pride that we are home to a top community radio station."
