Sarah Teather ran a competition with local primary schools to choose a Christmas card design

Local Liberal Democrat MP Sarah Teather has chosen Donnington Primary School pupil Alex Richardson's design for her Christmas card to constituents this year.

The year 3 pupil's winning design, which features a snowman and igloo, will be sent to people around Brent to wish them a happy Christmas from Sarah. Alex won a £50 book token and a guided tour of Parliament for himself and his class.

Local Liberal Democrat MP for Brent East Sarah Teather said:

"I would like to thank all the local children who took part in the competition to design my Christmas card. The standard was incredibly high and it was really hard to choose a winner.

"Alex's winning design is perfect to wish a very Merry Christmas to my constituents. I have also displayed some of the other entries in the window of my Willesden Green office. It is great to see so many talented budding artists in Brent."
