Sarah Teather lives locally in Willesden Green
Local Liberal Democrat Sarah Teather is the only Brent Central candidate to have her home address printed on the ballot paper.
With nominations for the constituency now published, every other candidate has opted to hide their home address from voters. Sarah lives locally in Willesden Green and famously refused to claim money for a second home.
In parliament Sarah has campaigned for more transparent politics. Sarah voted for candidates to be obliged to publish their home address on ballot papers, tabled a motion against second homes for London MPs, and the Liberal Democrats fought to make MPs subject to Freedom of Information legislation.
Liberal Democrat Brent Central candidate Sarah Teather said:
"I am proud to call Brent home. Willesden Green is a fantastic place to live and work, with a strong and vibrant community.
"It's important that people know they are backing a candidate who lives locally and shares their concerns. I have always backed more transparent politics and was pleased to publish my address on the ballot paper."
