Thursday's by-election in Brent East is set for an exciting finish.

Lib Dem Sarah Teather is gaining fast on the Labour candidate from Surrey and a close finish is expected.

Sarah Teather said, "People are fed up with years of Labour neglect and failure in Brent. Local people deserve much better."

The Conservatives are expected to finish in a poor third place after their candidate admitted she couldn't win.

Many of their former supporters are now backing Lib Dem Sarah Teather to beat Labour on Thursday.
