Simon Hughes and Sarah Teather are fighting for action on crime

Labour's latest election promises on crime are falling on deaf ears across the Brent area.

Many residents are asking, "haven't we heard this all before?"

After six years in power, during which time crime has soared, trust in Labour has never been lower. Many residents just don't believe anything Labour says any more.

Sarah Teather said, "Every election brings more Labour promises on crime, yet once the election is over nothing ever seems to change. People want action not words on crime."

More police says Sarah

Local Lib Dems are campaigning for more Police on patrol in our area. They want to see a named Police Officer for every street in our area.

Sarah Teather said, "More police actually on patrol will make a real difference in the battle against crime. We also need to give more support to crime prevention schemes in our area."

Earlier this week Sarah Teather presented a petition calling for more police in our area to the Government.
