Sarah Teather and Sir Trevor Mcdonald opening Willesden Hostel

Local Liberal Democrat MP Sarah Teather has opened a homeless hostel for young people on Willesden Lane alongside Sir Trevor McDonald. The Brent East MP also spoke at the event of the problems of homelessness in today's society.

Speaking at the event Brent East MP Sarah Teather said:

"The best thing about this hostel is it breaks down the barriers of homelessness. Too often homeless people are caught in a never-ending circle. If you have no home you can't get a job and if you have no job you can't get a home. This hostel will help homeless people in the best possible way by not just giving them shelter but by giving them a start."
