Sarah Teather MP expresses her condolences

Local Liberal Democrat MP Sarah Teather has this week called in the House of Commons for community relations to be safeguarded following the recent bombings in London. The Brent East MP also expressed her condolences to the family of Shyanuja Parathasangary a constituent who died in the bombings.

Local Liberal Democrat MP Sarah Teather said:

"Condolences must be expressed to the Parathasangary family as they must be to all the families and friends who lost someone in the bombings.

"In Brent we have a community which is a shining example of multi-culturalism. These relations have been hard won. We must all work hard to make sure they are not easily lost."
