Sarah Teather, Liberal Democrat MP for Brent East, attended the Brent Remembrance Day Civic Ceremony at Barnham Park.

The annual event is an opportunity for Brent to mark the anniversary of the end of the first world war.

Local Liberal Democrat MP for Brent East Sarah Teather said:

"It's so important for people to come together to remember the lives and efforts of those who lost their lives in service of their country.

"It's also an opportunity to remember the families of those currently in service, and to do out best to offer them the support they need."
