Brent's local Liberal Democrat MP Sarah Teather joined with local residents in support of the Not Another Drop Peace March on Saturday.

Speaking after the march, Sarah Teather said:

"The Peace March is so important to the people of Brent. It is a time for us all to come together and say with one voice that gun and knife crime must stop.

"But it is the work of the community all year round that will help us make even greater strides towards tackling the problem of knife crime on our streets. I hope the march will give the strength to local people to come forward with any information they may have that could help solve a murder or prevent another one.

"I would also like to pay particular tribute to those members of the Not Another Drop organisation who have lost love ones. The whole of Brent is indebted to their courage."
